Welcome to PocketShot (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). We highly value your personal information and privacy protection. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and protects your information.
Before using the App, please read and fully understand the entire content of this policy. By starting to use the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy.
I. Information We Collect and Its Purpose
1.1 Account and Identity Information
The current version of PocketShot:
- Does not provide account registration or login functions;
- Does not require you to provide identity information such as name, phone number, or email;
- Allows you to use the main features (shooting, saving, etc.) without providing any personal identity information.
1.2 User-Generated Content
- Photos and Videos: Photos, videos, and other content you capture or process using PocketShot are saved locally on your device or in your system gallery by default.
- The App will not automatically upload your photos or videos to any server without your explicit action.
- Editing Parameters and Settings: Camera settings, preferences, etc., are stored locally to provide a better shooting/editing experience.
1.3 Device and Log Information (For Functional Stability)
To ensure app stability and compatibility, we may obtain the following types of non-identifiable information locally or through system-provided statistical capabilities:
- Device Information: Such as device model, OS version, language, and regional settings.
- Usage Logs: Such as feature usage frequency, crash logs, and error messages, used to diagnose problems and improve performance.
- If third-party statistical services (e.g., crash analysis) are introduced in the future, we will update this policy and clearly list the relevant third parties and their purposes.
II. Description of Permissions
To implement the core functions of PocketShot, we need to request the following system permissions. We only access data after you have granted explicit authorization. You can revoke these permissions at any time in the system settings, though this may affect related functionality.
- Camera Permission (Required)
- Purpose: To enable photo/video capturing and real-time viewfinder functions.
- Note: The App cannot open the camera for shooting without your authorization.
- Photo/Gallery (Media Library) Permission (Highly Recommended)
- Purpose: To save photos/videos taken within the App to your system gallery and to import images/videos for viewing or processing.
- Note: The App only accesses gallery content when you actively choose to import or save; it does not automatically scan or batch-upload your gallery.
